Suspend Garland or Hang Banners: Ceiling Magnets

Hang garland from ceiling magnets on Multi MagMover.

Attach up to 6 ClikMagnets to the garland at desired intervals. Hint: looping an elastic band around both the magnet ring and the garland simplifies this step.

Screw the Multi MagMover onto an extension pole. Position the magnets as shown above (rings surrounding the posts with magnets facing upward). Ensure all of the garland hangs on the same side.

Strong ceiling magnets.

Extend the pole, lifting the garland into the air. Angle the Multi MagMover so only the first magnet is aligned with the metal surface (in this case a ceiling tile T-bar). When the ClikMagnet comes close to the metal surface it will adhere and pull off the post. Walk to the next suspension point and angle the Multi MagMover so the second magnet is the only one aligned with the metal.

Again, it will click in place. Repeat with the third magnet.

Continue to walk across the floor, repeating the process until all the magnets are on the ceiling.

Drape garland across ceiling.

Wow! The garland is draped perfectly in just a fraction of the time it would take using a ladder or lift. And just as importantly, without the safety concerns associated with large suspension equipment.

The Multi MagMover can be used to hang any object that requires six or fewer suspension points. It's perfect for large signs or banners. As well as tinsel garland, try draping tulle, fabric, strings of lights or air-filled balloon swags. You'll be amazed how simple it is.

When it's time to remove your display, you have two options with the Multi MagMover. If the item you've suspended is fragile, take it down carefully. Extend the takedown corkscrews on the Multi MagMover. Reverse the suspension process, using the corkscrews to capture the magnet rings one at a time. Then bring the object safely back to the ground.

Remove ceiling magnets.

If the suspended object is not fragile, you can remove it more quickly using the takedown hook at the end of the Multi MagMover. Position the hook inside the first ring and pull.

Take down ceiling magnets.

Once the magnet is off the ceiling, you can let it slip off the hook, so the first portion of the item dangles down. Repeat with successive magnets as necessary, until the item is released, or can be grasped from the ground and pulled down.
