ClikMagnets

If you haven't already seen the video demonstration, showing how the MagMover system allows suspension without a ladder, click here now to view it, then return.
ClikMagnets are the heart of the MagMover system. As the name suggests, they are small powerful magnets with rings. Their plastic coating prevents ceiling scratches, while the balanced center ring allows both maximum pull on the magnet and proper placement on a MagMover for easy installation and removal.
Choose the right size for your project:
Regular ClikMagnets
1 3/4" x 1/2" x 3/5" (4.4 cm x 1.3 cm x 1.5 cm)
--- 20/bag Item #94288
Regular ClikMagnets will hold up to 5 lbs.* (2 kg*). The original magnets, they are suitable for hanging a wide variety of mid-weight signs, products and decorations.
Super ClikMagnets
2 3/10" x 4/5" x 3/5" (5.8 cm x 2.0 cm x 1.5 cm)
--- 10/bag Item #95270
Super ClikMagnets are extra strong magnets supporting up to 10 lbs.* (4 kg*) each. Designed for hanging signs, fabric and larger items, they now feature double rings. The upper ring fits securely on the MagMover post. The larger bottom ring allows thicker tether lines to be used, and makes removal from the ceiling easier.
*Note: Actual magnet strength depends on the type and surface treatment of the ceiling metal. If the ceiling is rough or covered with layers of paint, the magnetic attraction will be reduced (it's always a good idea to test the surface in advance).
SAFETY WARNINGS:
- Keep all magnets away from credit cards, video tapes, computers and other electronic devices!
- The Clik-Clik system is not recommended for use with S-hooks, as items may fall during takedown.
ClikMagnet positioning on a MagMover depends on the application. See placement instructions below.
MagMovers

Single MagMover
Item #94290
3" x 3" (7.5 cm x 7.5 cm)
MagMovers come in three sizes: Single, Dual and Multi. All three screw onto a MagPole or a standard North American threaded pole like a broom handle or painting extension pole.
The inexpensive Single MagMover allows for positioning of one ClikMagnet at a time. As seen on the home page animation, it's ideal for items requiring only a single suspension point, like an air-filled foil balloon that rotates with room air currents. When it's time to remove the item, the MagMover takedown corkscrew hooks the magnet ring and brings it safely down.
NEW! The new Single MagMover allows ClikMagnets to be placed so displays can be suspended from walls as well as ceilings!
To better understand how the Single MagMover is used in a step-by-step project, see Inflate & Hang a Foil Balloon or Inflate & Display 3 Foils.

Dual MagMover
Item #10402
3.5" x 7" (8.5 cm x 18 cm)
The Dual MagMover holds up to two ClikMagnets at a time, so it's designed for items requiring two or fewer suspension points. Perfect for hanging most signs, art work, POP displays, retail merchandise and balloon sculptures.
To suspend an item, place one magnet on each post, ensuring the suspension lines are kept on the same side. Angle the Dual MagMover so only one magnet is aligned with the metal surface on the ceiling and allow it to adhere. Then walk to the second suspension point position, align the second magnet and repeat.
To remove the item, extend the takedown screws and capture one magnet with each screw. For step-by-step photos of the Dual MagMover in use, see the Hang A Sign project.
NEW! The new Dual MagMover allows ClikMagnets to be placed on the posts so displays can be suspended from walls as well as ceilings!

Multi MagMover
Item #10406
3.5" x 16" (8 cm x 41 cm)
The Multi MagMover can do everything the Single and Dual versions allow, but holding up to six ClikMagnets at a time, it will also suspend items requiring multiple suspension points. Ideal for hanging large signs, long banners and retail displays, chain lights, tinsel garland, tulle swags, fabric bunting, air-filled balloon garlands (see photo below)... and MUCH more.

Suspension and takedown are done in the same manner as with the Dual MagMover angling the tool so only one ClikMagnet is accessed at a time. The Multi MagMover also features a takedown hook (shown at the far left in the product photo above). This simple hook can speed removal of non-fragile items, by allowing the magnet to fall rather than being captured on a takedown screw.
See the Suspend Garland project for photos of this phenomenal product at work.

Placing ClikMagnets on your MagMover
Using a new MagMover? The ClikMagnets can be positioned for either ceiling or wall installation:

Ceiling Installation (see photo above):
Put the stem holding the ring into the center hole, allowing a portion of the ring to fall into the slot. The magnet should rest on top of the post, facing the ceiling.

Wall Installation (see photo above):
Rotate the corkscrew out. Place the ClikMagnet ring around the MagMover post with the magnet facing the wall. The end of the stem should fit into the slot.
Note: ClikMagnets have less strength on vertical surfaces.

Using an older style MagMover (no slot through the post)? The ClikMagnets are positioned as shown above. The ring should completely surround the post with the Magnet facing up. The stem holding the ring should NOT go in the center hole when using an older style MagMover.
For best results, secure your suspension line with a small tight knot. Align both this knot, and the stem holding the ring, with the gaps between the ring and the flat sides of the MagMover post. That way the MagMover will easily release the ClikMagnet upon contact with metal beams or suspended ceiling bars, hanging your item.
